Rina Dickson Registered Nurse, Live Blood Analysis

Rina has been a part of the healthcare field since the age of 23, she graduated as Registered Nurse in St. Catharines , and has worked all over the world, including Guatemala and Colombia.  She was given the opportunity to be in charge of organizing a Labour and Delivery Unit in a newly built hospital in Villavicencio. During her 2.5 year stay there she had been very fortunate to also have met several inspiring healers in the smaller villages outside of the hospital setting, using herbs and their traditional ways to return a person back to health.  Rina encountered a near death experience herself, where the healing power of nature saved her life, she was very thankful that this healer (far from any medical setting) knew exactly what to do.  This experience is where her fascination with nutrition and healing all began.

Over the years, Rina has studied under other master healers including Dr. Bernard Jensen, DC, nutritionist, iridologist. She has attended many seminars, and classes to further understand how the body works, and how a good chemical balance is correlated with good health, both for herself, along with her 4 children.  Rina’s knowledge truly improves the lives and wellbeing of everyone around her.

IMG_0223Rina was first introduced to Live Blood Cell Analysis 16 years ago (Jan 2000).  This assessment tool was very exciting, and fascinating for her – the fact that she could see information about the human body right on the spot, including the state of a patients red blood cells, immune system, nutritional deficiencies, etc .  Rina has been privately tutored by a master in the field, by Dr. Mike Drabiuk, in both Live and Dry Cell in Dark field, and Phase Contrast magnifications, and ultimately becoming certified in 2002.

Rina has recently retired after 41 years of working as a Labour and Delivery nurse, majority of her time working at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital.

Sandy Murdoch  Registered Nurse

img_0865Over 35 years of nursing experience in various areas of healthcare – medical, surgical, blood donor clinics and obstetrical care. I have always had an interest and belief in the body’s ability to heal itself. Through my own health issues, I realize even more the importance of a healthy diet, exercise and the right supplements. This is why I strongly believe we need an integrative approach, as I witnessed in many clinics in Germany, to maintaining our health. Everyone is an individual and should be treated as one, which is one of the reasons I enjoy working at Inside Health.

Now that I’ve retired from the hospital, I am able to further my knowledge of the benefits of naturopathic healing by attending various lectures and seminars. As well, I’m also learning to relax and enjoy other interests, including travelling, skiing, hiking and knitting and of course spending much more time with my family.

Gia Imperial  Registered Nurse

I grew up in an environment where nutrition was not well understood. After years of unhealthy food choices, I had finally decided to make nutrition and exercise a priority. This choice has bettered my life and has led me to pursue a career at Inside Health, where I am able to help others who are seeking ways to improve their health. As an aspiring naturopathic student, I hope to one day inspire others like how this clinic and its clients have inspired me.

When I am not at the clinic, I also work as a labour and delivery nurse at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital. I love spending my spare time at the gym and with my dog Tofu.

Colleen Skelly  Registered Holistic Nutritionist, Certified Colon Therapist

img_0859My own past experience with chronic anemia and hypoglycemia made me feel powerless and overwhelmed by conflicting and abundant information.  Dealing with unpleasant side effects from traditional medicine, lead me to pursue alternative ways of healing my body.   I couldn’t imagine living my life not having energy for myself and my family.  Realizing just how powerful food is for your body, lead me to desire more knowledge through education in nutrition and eventually a career in helping others realize the healing power in food.  In 2008, I graduated from Canadian School of Natural Nutrition as a Registered Holistic Nutritionist.  I’m also a proud member of Cahn-Pro.

Tracy-Lynn Houle  Registered Holistic Nutritionist, Certified Nutrition Expert (cand.)

img_0862I love nutrition and am passionate about working with people who want to improve their health through food. I am a Holistic Nutritionist from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition. I am also currently enrolled in the Academy of Culinary Nutrition to be accredited with the Certified Nutrition Expert title.

This all started for me when my son and I were both dealing with food allergies and it caused me to ask the question; “What has happened to our food?”

After years of research, the picture has become very clear.  And now I hope to help individuals or families, with a focus on food and health, and getting back into the kitchen!
